My sweet friend Katie sent Miss Bre this adorable butterfly towel. Knowing just how much baby girl loves her bath time. Needless to say, she is loving it and wearing it whenever possible.

it's funny how quickly they pick up on things. like turning an old diaper box into a boat and going fishing. just like daddy does.

i am so blessed for these amazing and simply wonderful kids of mine. seriously, they make my day so much brighter!

this kid

I can't believe how much this kid of mine has grown. He is making some major progress and I am just overwhelmed with such happiness. We just met with his teachers and aids a couple days ago and they are so impressed with how fast and how smart he is. The language and social skills this kid has picked up in the last 5 months have been amazing! I am so proud of this little guy!

nap

he is almost three and insists that he no longer needs a nap. instead we have quiet time while baby sister naps. he usually plays or reads, but sometimes he crawls up into our couch and falls asleep.

he is getting so big, but i love it when he reminds me that he is still so little.

Happy Valentine's day everyone!

First off, I know I haven't posted anything in like a week! I am sorry. So sorry. But I have a really good excuse. For our anniversary, the hubby surprised me with a new computer(YAY!) but then he left for a week and nothing was set up on it so I waited patiently for his return and now I am back! 

I have to say, I really missed you guys and reading all of your blogs!

I have also been super sick and that is never fun, especially when one's husband is gone for the week. 

Thankfully we have been blessed with beautiful weather, so trips outside become a huge treat to little ones, and this mama can just sit and relax for a few minutes.

And can I just say that I am so loving how close these two are getting? It's so sweet to watch them play together.

I hope you all have a very wonderful and very beautiful Valentine's day! Can't wait to catch up!!

good morning

we had some pretty crazy thunderstorms last night. they were intense and loud and i thought for sure they were going to wake the kids up. thankfully they didn't, but they definitely kept me up.

So today we are having a lazy and snugly and wonderful rainy day while this mama re cooperates from the long night.

i have been totally slacking on the blog this week. so sorry for the lack of posts. i've been in a funk and well, spending a lot of the days keeping myself busy and occupied. but we have been having awesome weather here and a lot of days have been spent outside.
