This family is just awesome. 

The evening of their family session just happened to be the first freezing cold day here in Kansas. Seriously, so very cold and instead of rescheduling they decided to just stick it out like champions. Their two little boys were just the sweetest and happiest guys during our quick little session and we managed to get a few beautiful shots before froze. I am so very thankful for the fun and wonderful clients I have had this year and this family was no exception. 

Such a beautiful family. Enjoy.

What a wonderful year this has been. SO many beautiful things to be thankful for. I am looking forward to tomorrow with my family and friends.

I love when clients become friends. This sweet girl and I met at a book group and I have just loved getting to know her. I have been so privileged to get to capture her and her beautiful family over the past few years. It's been fun watching her cute kids grow and get big. 

This session was such a fun one.  We were blessed with such amazing fall weather and beautiful skies. They are such a sweet family and I am excited to share a few of my favorites from their session with you!

This is another sweet and amazing little family that I have been lucky enough to capture for the past few years. Their little boys are just the cutest and their oldest son is in my son's, Fisher, first grade class. Last year we were stuck in very freezing temperatures and did our best to stay warm and happy. So we were all very excited to be blessed with such amazing and beautiful weather for this year's session. I always have so much fun capturing this family, but they were so smart to bring along Hollie's sister to help get the boys attention. Naturally, we had to get a few quick snapshots of her too.

I have been so incredibly lucky to get to take this sweet and wonderful and absolutely fun family's pictures many times throughout the years that I have known them. They are such a fun family and good friends and those two things just make these sessions so incredibly wonderful and easy. Plus, we got blessed with such awesome weather and such a gorgeous sunset.

i heart faces :: pets

I love I Heart Faces photo challenges, they are inspiring and fun. I was really excited about this one because we finally now have a pet in our household. So, naturally I just had to include our sweet pup. :)

Meet Kia, a sweet and lovable lab we just rescued. She has become the perfect addition to our family. She is loved on daily, fully of energy and all things wonderful.
