I love this link party and looking at fun and wonderful pictures from everybody's summer is another favorite.

So here it is. My top five photos of my kids from this summer!

Baby girl is one happy baby. She has been through a lot this summer but she just gives the most melt your heart smiles. Every. time. I just love this one of her. It's my fav.

We spent a lot of time in the pool this summer. My boys are just water babies and could stay and play in the pool for hours.

I love watching Fisher when he is watching everybody else. He really watches them and gets so involved. I wish I could pick his brain and really know what he is thinking sometimes.

And if you couldn't tell by the many post on my blog(s), we love fairs around here. This year the boys were big enough to ride some of the rides and this expression just says it all! Chase just loved the rides.

Poor baby girl fell and broke her arm almost four weeks ago and had to wear a cast for three weeks. And as sad as it seems, she was just a trooper. The cast didn't bother her at all and now that it's off, she is more mobile, more into things and is now trying to walk. Seems like nothing can slow this girl down.

wordless(ish) wednesday

We're exhausted here. Well, maybe it's more so me than the rest of the family. But we are tired and little boys are crashing in their chairs, too tired to finish their dinner. And baby girl passed out on my bed yesterday while I was packing up the room and constantly checking my phone to see how my mom is doing.

oh and the husbands gone all week, so there are late nights watching girly movies and 4:00 am cuddles with my three year old. I will take anything to keep my mind busy and occupied from the stresses and worries I am overwhelmed with right now.

Cuddling up with this little girl is exactly what I want to be doing right now.

the speedway

After our walk on Saturday we decided to check out the Kansas City Speedway(since that's where they held the walk). The Speedway is where they hold NASCAR races and throughout our walk you could hear these cars racing along the raceway. We were told that they do test runs and for a nice little fee... you could even test drive one.

We opted to be spectators instead

And the boys still wore their capes proudly.

The boys just loved watching the cars zoom by. They seriously just stood there and watched them speedily go around and around the track. 

Visiting the Speedway was such a fun experience for the boys. They enjoyed every minute of it and are still asking to go back.

and we're walking...

Last Saturday was the Kansas Autism Speaks Walk. It was a wonderful experience. I teared up the moment we entered the gates, I was just so overwhelmed with all of the different people and organizations who support Autism Speaks.

Because of this great organization, our son Fisher is able to get help and is continuing to grow and develop through his prognosis.

We decided to wear capes. Our son is our super hero!

Next year, our goal is to get much more people involved. We want to create a group and walk for our son, Fisher. Wayne's work has already agreed to help and we are excited to make a bigger impact.

Besides this walk we bought a new home! We are so excited! Can't wait to share more!

The cast is off!

We are oh so happy! Miss Sabrina is back to her fun and fast moving little self. The cast surely didn't stop her, but she is moving more than ever now!

I would like to share with you all some more from the fair.

Like I said earlier, we spent the entire day at the fair. We looked at every animal, stopped at every booth and tried delicious treats along the way.

We had a lot of fun together. It was nice to just catch up.

My nieces are growing up so fast, I can't even believe it! Can't time just slow down a little bit? I feel like I just blink and the next thing I know they are no longer little, but big cousins who are so helpful and so wonderful with my littles.

state fair :: the rides

Last weekend we drove down to spend the weekend with my brother and his kids. Our purpose, to attend the Kansas State Fair.

Like I have said before, I love me some state fairs.

I had so much fun going with my big brother. I loved watching my kids buddy up with their cousins, taking in new and fun things and just enjoying the whole day together.

Chase was so excited that he got to go on some of the rides. He wanted to ride every ride, but he loved watching all of the big kids ride the wild and crazy rides too.

My nieces and nephew are fearless. They love the adventure of riding big and crazy rides.


We had so much fun and spent the entire day walking and playing at the fair.

While we waited for her big brother to get off the bus from school, we decided to enjoy the wonderful weather outside.

She is definitely my cutie pie! love her!

The sky was absolutely incredible on our way home from the Kansas State Fair. The clouds were thick and engulfed us with this rich autumn color throughout the sky. Why traveling over 70mph on a major state highway, I just had to capture this sky.

The pictures may not be the best, but I love the movement and colors they capture.

And for some crazy reason, I just love this completely out of focus shot.

And it's not Kansas if there isn't any sunflowers to be seen!

family goodness

I should say that I just love my family. I love spending time with them, and I love that when we make time and we all get together, it's fun and crazy and I just can't stop laughing from the funny things my sisters says. Or I can't stop smiling because I watch my kids and they are the happiest they can be because they are playing and laughing and with cousins who are much older than they are, but they don't care.

Yes, I just love my family.

Now that we moved from Utah, and drove right through my home state to the other side in Kansas, the drive back home has become longer and little more harder for the kids. But without fail, as soon as we reach my parent's home, we quickly settle in and the long drive seams all worth it.

I so enjoy the time spent with my grandparents and I am just loving how my kids show them the same love I have for them. Can I just say I love this picture? My grandpa just looks so happy having Fisher on his lap. It melts my heart!

These two are just best buds!

My kids just love my sister! She is the best Aunt, and one of the funniest people I know. I miss her, but when we get together, there is no stopping us! Let the fun and laughter begin!!

And my dad is the best dad out there. Not to mention and pretty wonderful grandpa too. My kids adore him! From the moment we arrive to the minute we leave they are by his side and constantly asking where he is. He is the best!!

Yeah, being with family is the best! And lucky for us, we get to surround ourselves with some more! We are spending the weekend with my brother down in Wichita!! Woo hoo!!

And Yay!! It's finally Friday!! Hope you all have an awesome weekend too!!
