I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting! She is talking and understanding so much and soon she is going to be a big sister!! She has been our baby for almost two years now and it's hard to believe that she will no longer be the baby in the family. But I love this sweet and funny little girl and I am so loving watching her grow. 
it's that kind of monday. the one where it was insanely hard to get out of bed and start the day off right. so instead, we've decided to eat breakfast on the couch and catch up with some of our favorite PBS shows today.

Here we are, in the single digits of weeks counting down till baby arrives! It's crazy to me how fast time is really flying with this pregnancy. I am in full nesting mode and want to clean and scrub everything in sight. And afterwards, I want to do it all over again! I am definitely feeling a lot of pressure in my lower back and will have some pretty strong braxton hicks contractions through the day. When that starts to happen I start to panic just a little bit that I will soon be in labor and have to go through all that again. I don't feel ready for that. But the baby is doing well and growing right on schedule and I love feeling this little one move.

seriously so happy to have this guy home with us during the day. i can't get enough of his smiles and laughter and we are going to make the best of this short summer break! 
i love the mornings when i come down stairs and see a big brother and his little sister just giggling and smiling together. these are the moments that make my heart full.

my hubby is another year older! we celebrated with good friends, yummy brownies(his favorite) and fireworks of course!

we love heading to the lake. soaking up the sun, playing in the sand and letting the cold water cool us off. definitely a favorite place of ours.
