Sabrina made a new friend. When we visited with my brother and his family, his brother-in-law and wife and their daughter, Samantha came to visit as well(confusing, i know!). Sabrina is just a couple weeks older than Samantha and they had a blast meeting and playing together. So much that Samantha just crawled right up and literally sat in Sabrina's lap!

Wow! Can I just say a huge thank you and big hug to all of you! You guys really made my weekend and the kind words you wrote on my last posts just really made me smile. I love that there is such a great community of so many wonderful ladies through this blog world of ours.

You all are so inspirational and wonderful and I am grateful to be a part of something truly amazing!

I just had to post this picture from my weekend with my brother. Can I just say I love seeing that last name on a jersey?! It's my maiden name and seeing my brother wear it on his hockey jersey is just awesome!

Speaking of inspirational, my brother is just that. He is eleven years older than me, but I have always been close and have always looked up to him. He is an amazing son, father, uncle, brother and grandson and although nobody is perfect he seems pretty perfect to me. I am glad that this move has made us even closer, including location.

I have been going through all of our pictures from our from weekend in Wichita. We did so many things and I took so many picture that i am just trying to find the littlest of time to catch up.

This week has been a hard week for me. A lot of struggles and a lot of overwhelming emotions. But it's amazing how this blog and just taking pictures save me every time. I enjoy reading and admiring so many other blogs and their beautiful pictures. I love just sinking in and getting lost, going through my bazillion photos, remembering those wonderful moments and hoping to one day share those my memories with my kids. Sometimes, it really is just the small things that leave the biggest impressions on you.

wichita

the best thing about moving to Kansas City so far? My nieces and nephew (and my sister-in-law and brother) live only three hours south in Wichita. I love these kids and I decided to pack up the boys and baby girl and head on out for some much needed family love. We stayed longer than planned and enjoyed every single minute spent with them.

this is one of many of my favorite pictures from our trip. After a long and fun day at the pool we decided to stay dressed in our swim suits and run through sprinklers and play in mud till the sun began to set and the air became cool enough to color the driveway.

I can't believe how big and mature my niece is! She is becoming so beautiful.

subtle differences

I know this looks like the same picture of Chase with one in color and the other black and white. But it's not. The black and white is the only picture of him looking right into the camera, while the color one he is staring off somewhere else. I love both pictures and I love them both in color and in black and white.

Can you believe she is 9 months already?
