quarterly top five - q1

wow! i can't believe we are to the end of march already and done with a fourth of this year. time is flying!! It's always so hard to pick the top five favorite photos from the year so hard. so here are just five favorites of the many I have taken thus far!

I love when he plays so hard and insist that he doesn't need a nap anymore and then I find him all tuckered out on our couch. It reminds me that he is still so little.

lately my little guy has loved being in front of the camera. i love the days when he will bring me my camera and ask me to take his picture. we have fun playing around and he just loves to be so goofy. i love love LOVE these moments!

and i just love the faces he makes!

14 weeks

here it is. my first time posting belly pics. since this is mostly likely our last little one, i thought it would be fun to document this pregnancy as much as i can. although, i probably wont post weekly pics but every so often pics.

well, the secret is out and so is my little belly. they say with the more pregnancies you have the earlier you start to show and i definitely feel like i am starting show. thankfully no maternity clothes aren't needed just yet. i am still just so excited for this little person we are creating. i am starting to feel a few little flutters every now and then and that just melts my heart. i think the kicking is the best part of pregnancy. so far i am starting to feel better about eating and things are getting a little easier. i am definitely craving sweets and would do anything for a reese peanut butter egg right now, but i can't get enough of cheddar cheese and sliced apples. so yummy. we got to hear this little's one heart beat for the first time a couple weeks ago! 135 bpm and the baby was definitely very active. and if you read above, we have decided to wait until the baby's birth to find out what we are having. the husband is very excited about this and i am trying my best to stay on board for as long as i can! ;)

a couple weeks ago, my super cute friend gave me the pleasure of taking some spring shots of her adorable kiddos. the weather wasn't so great and it was pretty cold outside so we decided to take some indoor shots.

the best of spring break

first off, THANK YOU for all the wonderful well wishes on announcing baby four!! We are so excited and your guy's comments just made my week! you are all so very kind and so sweet! thank you!!


last week was our spring break. we had the most perfect sunny weather and decided to make the most of it by spending every waking moment outside. we enjoyed plenty of picnics in the park, going to the zoo, exploring new places and just making outside more colorful. her are just a few shots from our break.

picnics outside is a new favorite thing of ours. i think everyday we ate somewhere new and the kids just loved this!

a beautiful surprise

i feel like this is the year of the babies. lots of good friends and bloggers i love are all expecting this year and it's been so fun to watch them all share their news and express their happiness. we weren't planning on trying to have a fourth and honestly, after my last miscarriage in december a part of me thought that maybe we were done for good. but low and behold at almost 7 weeks along we found out we were indeed expecting again and although it's been a huge surprise for us, we could not be happier! especially two weeks later when we saw this beautiful image with the strongest heartbeat.

i am so happy to announce that we are officially out of the first trimester and the morning sickness is slowly subsiding and some energy has started to come back(although i would still rather sleep all day if i could!). we have been given the due date of september 20th and we are so looking forward to meeting this wonderful new addition to our family!!

hello spring

technically spring is really a few more days away, but here it feels like we skipped spring and said a big hello to summer.  it's been hot and sunny and blue skies galore, and we aren't really complaining. we are loving the warm days and the little reminders of spring popping up everywhere!

we are expecting some rain and thunderstorms soon, but for now we will relish in this perfect weather and soak up some much needed vitamin d.

i love his the look on his face when he is still dazed from waking up. i love the little chocolate mustache leftover from his breakfast. i just love this little face every morning.

yesterday we decided to jam out to "we are young" by FUN. for the day. It made for some good dancing, lots of smiles and the beautiful sound of a little's laugh.

these may not be the best photos in terms of clarity and sharpness, but the memories they captured just make them so beautiful to me.
