Walker 2 yr Old Pictures :: Olathe, KS

This cute little guy turned two back in Febuary, but we waited till the weather warmed up and the scenery got a little green to take his two year old pictures. And can I just tell you, I had a blast capturing this little guy! He was full of smiles and happiness and just so easy to capture.

17 weeks and happy friday

We were lucky enough to have my mom and dad come up and spend a couple of days with us and the kiddos. The kids just love having their grandma and grandpa around and so we made sure to show them all of our favorite places in our new city. We kept pretty busy and I have lots of photos to show for it! But for now, some pretty fish.

Photobucket
We just got a new aquarium in kansas city so we took the grandparents to check it out!

And yesterday I became 17weeks pregnant with a very active little one! I went to see my midwife yesterday and even she told me this little one is quite active, which is just perfect in my book! The heartbeat was strong at 148 and I could just listen to that sound all the time. I have been pretty lucky to still be able to fit in regular clothes but i know that that will soon come to an end here. As for the pregnancy insomnia, it's already kicked in, which means i should be due for a nap here in a couple of hours! We get to finally see our little one again in four weeks and I cannot wait!

hope you all have a very wonderful weekend and happy friday!!

wordless(ish) wednesday

Lately as I have been watching my little belly grown and feel little flutters of movements from time to time, I get excited to think that in a few months we will have another little one in our home. It's bittersweet as I watch my baby girl grow and change and blossom everyday. She amazes me everyday and I just cannot grasp how fast time really does fly.

Photobucket
She has become so funny and so full of personality. I love when she makes funny faces at me. Seriously makes my day every morning!

She is growing into this fun little person that I literally tell her every second how much i love her.  I love watching my kids grow and I love how much they make my heart full!

saturday we drove down to wichita to spend the day with my brother and his family. my mom and dad are in town visiting them for the week so it was fun to have a big family to celebrate with for once.

the kids just love easter egg hunting. it's become a new favorite past time around here. somehow putting eggs in a basket doesn't get old with these kiddos.

sweetly asleep after all of the easter fun and excitement.

16 weeks

Photobucket
wow! sixteen weeks already, and i feel like i definitely have a bump now! the last two weeks have been crazy, i have been extremely fatigued and by 11 a.m i am just begging the kids to go down for naps. i have also been getting a lot of headaches lately but i got those a ton with the little miss we already have. other than that i am feeling pretty good and able to eat most things without getting sick. Yay! i love me some food around here! i definitely feel like i have a bump now, and even though i can still fit into regular clothing, i am not sure how much longer that will last! i am definitely looking forward to our appointment next week when we can listen to that beautiful heartbeat again! and then, it's the big ultrasound to see our little one. lots of fun things to look forward to in the next few weeks!

Photobucket
speaking of looking forward to, i am so looking forward to this weekend. can't wait to celebrate easter with the littles and play with cousins and friends!

hope you all have a very wonderful and very enjoyable weekend!

wordless(ish) wednesday

this week has been an emotional week, and with so many things just playing against me(i.e pregnancy hormones and the anniversary of our oldest's diagnosis) i just needed to take a break and breathe in inspiration. i find that long walks by myself help a little with that.

Photobucket
it so wonderful to go on long walks when the weather is perfect temperature and the flowers are blooming around you.

Photobucket

Photobucket
i am looking forward to this weekend when we will take a long drive to see family. family always seem to help when you're in a funk. what inspires you?

happy wednesday!

i heart faces :: happiness

This week's theme at I heart Faces is happiness. This was such a fun challenge and I just love taking pictures that just show pure and utter happiness.

Photobucket
I decided for this challenge to use this photo of my good friend's son that I took recently for her. This photo is one of my favorites of Logan. It's such a natural capture and I just love the smile and happiness it expresses.

You should definitely head on over to I heart Faces and check out some more pretty amazing photos of happiness!

Happy Tuesday Everybody!!

lighting up blue

April is autism awareness month and today is a special day for us too. It's Autism Awareness Day and a day where the world lights up blue to help spred awareness for Autism.

In case you didn't know, our oldest was diagnosed with Autism almost two years ago(you can read more about his story here). Since then April has become a big day for us to help spred awareness and do our part to help light up the world blue.

Photobucket
We started off our morning wearing our blue shirts.

Photobucket

Photobucket
All ready to wear blue!

Photobucket
We also decided to make cookies to send to daddy's work. They were definitely amazingly delicious and we may have sampled just a few before we actually delivered them. And if your curious as to why they use a puzzle piece to represent autism it's because it represents the complexity and mystery of autism.-Autism is mysterious because nobody knows what causes autism or why the instances of autism seem to be increasing.

Photobucket
We also decided to color our driveway and change the outdoor lights blue. It may not be a whole lot but it's a big start for us. We are so thankful for the amazing help and aid we have received to help Fisher grow and blossom. Without organizations like AutismSpeaks and the small groups who try to help families and kids on the spectrum I don't know where our Fisher would be right now. He is an amazing and bright little boy who lights up our life daily. We are so blessed to have him and we are going to keep fighting for him!

Hope your monday is a wonderful monday!
